Been Lazy

October 26th, 2007

Not that anyone actually visits this page, but I don't think I could forgive myself if I didn't post at least once a month; so here's what I;ve been up to.

Not a whole lot....My old room mate has moved to Missouri to retire. It's been a long time coming, but he's finally moved. Billy touched a lot of poeple's lives and he will be missed. I may not have been the most reliable person, but I hope I was a good friend.

My band has a gig coming up next weekend at a house party in Nipomo. It's a halloween party, so I promise to post some pictures afterwards. My plans of being a Geico Caveman fell through due to my late planning (and $) so I picked up this cool bleeding skull mask instead ($10 at Walmart). Should be lots of fun.

Well, that's all for now. I'll post more later when I'm inspired, and not at work. :) Laters everynobody.

My New Smartphone

September 21st, 2007

Oh boy, oh boy! I just got my new cell phone. I had been wanting to upgrade for a while and my service finnaly came up to renewing. The phone I went with is the Blackberry 8800. One of the main attractions of this phone is built-in GPS. Google Maps Mobile is way cool too. I'm making a "Where-Am-I" section on my website that will track where my last seen location was and paths I've taken.

Google Earth's Hidden Feature

September 4th, 2007

      pasted from TechCrunch.com

We've always known that Google has wanted to challenge Microsoft's desktop dominance in a number of areas, but to date we didn't know that extended to gaming.

Hidden inside Google Earth is a secret Flight Simulator that takes full advantage of Google's extensive satellite imagery.

To access the hidden feature, open Google Earth and hit Command+Option+A (note it must be capital A) or Ctrl+Alt+A if you're using a Windows Machine.

The Google Earth Flight Simulator comes with two aircraft options...continued...

Pandora's Battery - Resurrect Your Bricked PSPs

August 23rd, 2007

Great news for bricked PSPs. Sometimes people get a little too creative when modding the flash of the PlayStation Portables (to do cool stuff), or sometimes things just go wrong; but no there's no reason to be sad. Your broken PSP can now be repaired thanks to the great work developed after this discovery.

Geek's Dream Underwear

August 17th, 2007

Man it'd be hot if my girlfriend wore a pair of these! XBOX 360/Live have these things called acheivements. They are basically status markers on games a user has played. Here's an acheivement that may take many gamers out there a long time to unlock. :p

360 vs. Elite

August 13th, 2007

Here's a clip of a short animation that my co-worker jus10p made for an Xbox Live contest (that was a mouthful). I did the voices for it. Enjoy!
